Making The Most Of Your Cruise Trip

Cruises can be as relaxing or they can be as crazily packed with fun as you want them to be, the choice really is yours.

The first thing you need to do is research. Before booking, speak to a travel agent or read up on reviews online. Some cruises are designed to be more relaxed than others. But don’t worry, if your partner’s idea of a good day is playing tennis or learning how to tango, but you would prefer sitting on your device at your favourite mobile casino, you can just do your own thing.

The Tour

The first thing that will happen when you get on board and get checked in will you will be told to take part in the safety lecture. Make sure you do as it could save your life. But another handy thing is that you will be taken on a bit of a walk around the ship.

You can also book guided tours around the ships, and when you consider that you have at least 10 restaurants and double the amount of bars, you might well want to do so.

Wake Up Early

One of the best ways to get the most out of your cruise is to get up early and have breakfast before heading out to take part in an activity. If you are spending the day at sea, you can soak up the rays at the pool and sip on a cocktail or a gin and tonic.

Pre-plan excursions

Don’t leave it till the last minute of the day. If you want to book an excursion, do it the night before. This might cost you extra, but it is a good idea to choose where you might want to go when you pull into harbour the next morning. Procrastination on the day could mean losing out on something more interesting that was on offer.

Enjoy yourself

No biggie here, just kick back and enjoy the ride.
